Cutting through the noise of traditional home mailings, billboards and even “For Sale” signs is a challenge for agents seeking clients, as well. That is why, in recent years, many real estate agents have turned to social media to promote listings and attract new clients. In this industry, agents are gatekeepers, possessing not only goods in the form of property but information as well. As such, using social media to position oneself as an expert or a leader can go a long way toward boosting a real estate business.

Recently HouseLogic and agency partner MXM Social were recognized for creating educational, share-worthy original graphics to inspire online conversations among homeowners. This award distinguishes HouseLogic in the real estate industry and shows their motivation to leverage all mediums to connect and engage online with homeowners and consumers.

“HouseLogic, the National Association of Realtors’ (NAR) consumer-facing web resource aims to arm homeowners with the information and education necessary to maintain and grow the value of their home,” the Web Marketing Association said in a statement.

Another social media mention worth noting for utilizing YouTube, Keller Williams boasts over 400,000 video views, 100,000 channel views and 18,698 subscribers.
